French ready to wear fashions (pret-a- porter) by photographer Marilyn Stafford  in Montmartre in 1950. Seen here her model is accompanied by local children. Stafford was introduced to Henri Cartier Bresson who became her mentor and encouraged her to concentrate on street photography. Marily left Paris in the 1970's and worked for the Observer newspaper .
