Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher inspects the RAF’s hard-working command during a visit to the Falklands. The War between Argentina and the United Kingdom lasted just ten weeks. It took 74 days for British forces to retake the islands and ended with the Argentine surrender on 14 June 1982.
