Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris 1949. One of the most notable monuments in Paris is the Notre Dame Cathedral. The Cathedral is over 800 years old. The building of the cathedral took over 200 years to complete . Work started in 1163 during the reign of King Louis VII and was completed in 1345 .
