Aircraft Carrier HMS Eagle - Northcliffe Collection

An aircraft lands on the deck of HMS Eagle on maneuvers in the Arctic in December 1952. It was the sister ship of the HMS Ark Royal. HMS Eagle was built in Belfast at Harland and Wolff and served from 1951 to 1972.
