Angela Lansbury - Northcliffe Collection

Angela Lansbury has enjoyed a career spanning over 80 years. Lansbury has received 5 Tony Awards 6 Golden Globes and an Olivier Award. She has also received an Honorary Academy Award a Bafta Fellowship and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. Lansbury married twice, first Richard Cromwell an actor when she was aged 19, and Cromwell was 35. Cromwell and Lansbury eloped and were married in a small civil ceremony. The marriage ended in divorce in 1946, but they remained friends until his death in 1960. In 1949, she married fellow actor and producer Peter Shaw they remained together for 54 years until his death in 2003.  Angela dies in October 2022 at the age of 96.
