Diamond Jubilee Beacon by Lucy Young
Jubilee beacon lighting, Malvern Hills. Over a thousand people trekked up to the top of the Malvern Hills to see a beacon lit as part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The bonfire was one of a chain of 2,012 beacons lit throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 60 years on the throne. June 4th 2012
